BCI / FBI Procedures
EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 10, 2008, THE COST OF THE BCI BACKGROUND CHECK WILL INCREASE TO $30.00. THE COST OF THE FBI BACKGROUND CHECK WILL REMAIN THE SAME ($30.00).
The North Point Educational Service Center offers background checks/fingerprinting services through their Central Office and the Ottawa County Office. Both offices have the capability to do both the BCI and FBI electronically. Procedures are as follows:
CENTRAL OFFICE: 2900 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky
- Background Checks/Fingerprinting is done on Tuesday and Thursday ONLY from 1:30 ~ 4:00 p.m.
- Cost is $30 for the BCI (resident of Ohio for at least the last five (5) years) and $30 for the FBI (if you have lived outside of Ohio anytime within the last five (5) years)
- Valid picture ID is required
- Payable in cash or money order ONLY ~ money orders made payable to NPESC
- Print and complete the form listed below BEFORE you come into our office for fingerprinting. This will assure proper mailing of all results.
OTTAWA COUNTY OFFICE: 310 Main Street, Genoa
- Background Checks/Fingerprinting is done on Tuesday and Thursday ONLY from 1:30 ~ 3:30 pm
- THE REST OF THE INFORMATION IS THE SAME
