Preschool Highlights
Mrs. Giles Preschool class is learning how to code. While learning how to code children are using problem solving, math skills, control, and directional language. Students are using Kinderbot to code and learn early math concepts, colors, letters and more. The kids are using problem solving skills as they figure out how to program paths for their robot. Young learners are also inspired to be big thinkers as they use engineering and building skills to try out different experiments with the robot and simple machine accessories. They are practicing engineering and building skills just like a real engineer!
It's Fall!!! Time for a Leaf Lesson! Other preschool students in the area learned about leaves and why they change colors. They read a book about leaves and made observations about real leaves. The students sorted leaves by size and color and counted them.
